Just to clarify, the QR400 (or so) doesn't include the cost of the material? Can you give me a guide to how much material costs? I'm not a big guy so I won't need a massive amount. :^)
You don't have to tell anything to Kashmir tailor. Their package includes everything like lining in the trousers. cost QR 400 for 2 piece suit. material you have to buy from them and they have a vast collection. I did my wedding suit there.
I had a suit made here (not at Kashmir). Ended up paying QAR420. The workmanship was quite OK, but some things you have to tell them in advance. Like lining in the trousers - you don't tell them they won't do it. You might want to buy your own material as well.
I'm also interested in this. I bought a few good suits in Vietnam for about US$100 each and I'm wondering if I can do something similar here too. I've seen a few Indian tailors about. Anyone had anything made here?

QR 400 for tailoring only. Material cost varied from 300-500.For shirts no idea. never done that before.
It should include cost of the material... otherwise it makes no sense. The tailors I have been referring to for 420 were doing the whole suit.
What about the shirts. Do you know how much they charge for a shirt, if I order a dozen?
Thanks for the tips SL and Terramax.
