  • What is the legal way to carry Qatar riyals or US dollars for a passenger while traveling by air?
  • Is there any custom limitations on carrying & bringing back Foreign or Qatari currency while traveling home?

EDIT: Cash, precious metals, financial bearer negotiable instruments or valuable jewellery equal to or more than QR 50,000 needs to be declared upon arrival or departure at the Hamad International Airport.

    What about when entering Qatar?

I haven't been able to find any information on currency restrictions coming into Qatar.

The exact amount to carry along with you when you travel back home is $10,000.00 and try to get a certicate from the bank where you withdraw that money to avoid any money laundering case.

Every country will have different regulations. Check their customs websites.

If you enter the EU, you have to declare cash over 10.000 Euro at the customs.
