Cid clearance and sponsorship transfer

What is the estimated time for sponsorship visa transfer from one company to another (expat to local hire)? How long does it take for cid and immigration? Some people receive clearance in 10-15 days. If all the documents are in place what is the maximum time for clearance and immigration. Can immigration be obtained while clearance is going on?
Alhamdulillah.. Finally mine is completed on 4-Jan. So it took me about 40-45 days.
Could you share your experience on this.
I submitted all documents required to transfer sponsorship on 16-Nov and is still waiting (31-Dec 11:48 PM). New company have given me a copy of checking receipt of transfer form submitted to emigration department dated 21-Nov. I never thought this would take this long. However I hope this is not the case for everyone. Let me know if you hear any further on this.
