try making veggie tempura for your daughter. make it a little sweet and salty combined... works well with my son before. i make it crispy. i even made him eat spinach (tempura style). :)
i also do bread rolls.
you have to flatten a loaf bread with a rolling pin.
wrap in it cheese, carrots, zuchini, cucumber, or any veggie u like.
dipped in a mixture of egg and milk, then on bread crumbs and fry in little oil.
my daughter is very picky..like the pickiest of em all!she hardly eats veges unless well disguised with an exception to potatoes. She loves chicken and lamb. Yes please do share your ideas! Having to do all the cooking now myself is going to be high fun..affirmation..lol
I'm not also very good in baking. but sometimes i use my imagination to make use of left overs.
i do baked macaroni, lasagna, cookies, brownies, soft cakes, etc.
one time, i've got lots of toasted loaf bread, decided to cut them in small pieces, poured some milk, added some cheese, raisins and almonds, put inside the oven and the outcome was good. :)
My sister, who has for the past two years shared a home with me moved out yesterday to her own place. what's the connection to the OP? well you see she always did most of the cooking for us, and now I'm gonna have to do it all myself *sniff sniff* for today it's gotta be egg noodles for my daughter. Myself, just a yogurt with a crumbled granola bar!
I've never been good at baking in general. So any sites you know of would be helpful.
In my culture it's more of cooking over the stove than baking. I know only the simple cakes and stuff like that. But for the elaborate baking....*sigh*
