Damaged Finger Print, Please Help

My husband is now currently working in Qatar (he arrived last July 2018) and until now he still don't get or have a resident ID because of the damage/scar from his finger prints. His working visa will soon be expiring in September 2018.
Now, we're afraid that Qatar embacy might or will deport him soon due to his damaged finger prints long time ago. (10 years ago, three (3) of his fingers from his right hand were damaged/scarred from dough roller machine while working in a bakery.)
Our question is, can't we do anything about this? or Is there any other way? Please help, your advice is highly appreciated. Thank you
