here's a crazy thought. why don't someone owning a flat just make one room sort of like a short time room. :D charge per hour! hahahaa!!! that would be very profitable eh!!!

hahaha!!! me and my business minded brain...

Choose between savings and peace of mind, then answer your own question.

Qatar is not the same as the Philippines. The government here is really (and should be) GOVERNING. Just follow their rules. In the Philippines you can have all the excuses as people (well, not all but mostly) there doesn't have any respect with the government.

ba't di na lng maghanap ng partner na hindi ka-opposite sex mo? Solusyon ba yan para makakatipid? I don't think so.

And pls, we're in a main forum, be advised to move this thread on QL-Fil Expat.

do not bring your life in a very risky situation (especially in middle east)

as you have said, salary offered is not enough. find alternative ways; wait for a good offer or better yet, get married first then come here.

must have legal papers.

ihave one room vacant in my flat, but we did not tolerate this kind of relationship...

I think nobody takes risk to be with you with that kind of relationship... it would be more risky to our fellow kabayan who rented the whole flat...Pasensya na Kabayan...take care..

even if you are going to live in a compound of Pinoys,

one day, someone will report this to local authority. The consequencies will be hars. Its not worth trying. If I am in your shoes, I will not even think about it. It will be a Bad Life. sorry for breaking your heart:-(

I suggest you don't take the risk because once you're caught living in one room sans benefit of marriage, you will definitely be deported. There are lots of options to save. Think twice!

1- hi, im guessing you're a newbie here in QL, just so you know, we are only allowed to post in English in the main forum.. we can post in tagalog in the QL Filexpat group though..

2- addressing your problem, it's really hard to find an accomodation that will allow 2 people of the opposite sex to live together. it is certainly not worth risking it.. there are some pretty reasonable bedspaces here though if your purpose is to save money, then i think bedspace is the next and safer option...
