Draft

My friend wanted some money urgently who is based outside Qatar. To help this friend i issued a USD demand draft in his name. He did not want a wire transfer bcos he told me he will get bank deduction.

I posted this draft to him. Now i dont hear from him, he tells me it is delayed. How do i know if he has received this draft and that he has encashed it. the draft is valid for 6 months.

Can i stop the demand draft from getting encashed?
how do i know if he already got money from the draft?
