Dear All,

I wonder if anyone knows the procedure how I can extend the family visit visa for my wife beyond 6 months. I already extended it for 5 months and is 6 months running. I would like to get it extended for couple of months more.Any suggestion is highly appreciable. Thanks

Thanks guys for your input.

However I recently heard they are not extending family visit visa beyond 6 months. Instead they are suggesting to go out of the country to the nearest like Bahrain or UAE and come back with like a new entry. Obviously I am not sure about it. Anyone has any idea or experience regarding new regulations at all? Or it is just a rumour. Thanks

Please apply for the 7th month extension at least a week before the 6th month visa expires.

You can get just another month's extension before she completes 6 months by presenting to immigration office a confirmed booking of her return ticket which must not exceed 7 months.
