Hi my friends thanks for your comments..the husband of my friend at first was supporting when the baby was small..he goes regularly and sending support to the Philippines...Im not sure what happened with their marriage why it did not work out...My friend dont really care if the husband is no longer sends support to the child ...what she wants is for their marriage to be granted divorse so she can move on wih her life...and maybe in future finds another husband...She has a lawyer in the Philippines but then she was advice to file the divorse first in Qatar where they were married and then illegalize her marriage certificate in the Philippines....I have a copy of their marriage contract from Sharia court with the full name and Qatar ID of the guy...If only I can locate the guy and get contact so I can help my friend...

Goodluck....kabayan better to do is go back the homeland & build a small business Whatever is worrying you right now, forget about it. Take a deep breath, and trust in God. Love this and you really need to do it..One day you find the person who can touch your heart with a smile, and genuine honesty. Trusting you with their fears, allowing you to once again hear the music.Godbless po!!!

Technically this is good for your friend, because if she is not looking for any compensation and she has been able to support the kid for this long, then she should be free to find a new husband. From what I know, if you were not maid in Phils, then you are technically single. Also, if you have not been in touch with your husband for more than 7 years, I think Phils have a law that your marriage is null. I hope your friend learned a lesson and she should focus on her kid and finding a good husband.

Why she is looking for only divorce? No compensation? There must be the details in the sharia court as you said before. So, your friend doesn't want to find her husband. In this case, just make a petition in police, court, news paper announcement with his/her details then look for any objection from anywhere for a month. If not, you can go with your freedom. Best of luck.

Marriage Last 2006. This is 2015. There is a huge gap of 8 years. So I guess, this story is incomplete in the above said 4 lines..

how come no contact ?! doesn't she even have his QID copy his RP number anything ? ofcourse if he is in Qatar, he can be found out even if he's hiding in the Cave. Its better to know why he's doing it & if its on purpose before filing a divorse.
