Gaza Aid

For those interested, I just found this on the Peninsula web site:

DOHA: Qatar-based NGO Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) on Monday pledged US$1m in humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Omnia Nour, Director of ROTA, said: “We are committed to lend a helping hand to thousands of Palestinians who have been rendered homeless, injured and impoverished due to the on-going conflict”.

Those interested to contribute to Gaza through ROTA can send their donations to ‘ROTA’ at Qatar National Bank (QNB) A/C No. 0035-004919-004 (Palestine Immediate Relief) with its Qatar Foundation branch or call +974 4800296 ; www.reachouttoasia.org.

The damage -- physical, mental, emotional -- being done is more than any of us can imagine. Please help the wounded to heal. Gaza and the Palestinians need a chance for life.

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.

iwael - more than enough threads posted on this already! Not sure how you managed to miss them all, especially if you were actively looking for them!

Thanks baldrick for posting a positive thread rather than the usual non-constructive ones.

Thanks for the info. I think we should all contribute. No matter what are affiliations. This will help the displaced families and especially children.
