Getting a guitar home...kinda urgent

I have a slight problem, I just bought a electric guitar here, and I was going to buy a hard case this summer, and then after I went home next year, I was going to send it thru with lots of padding and the hard case. Now its seems that im going to be going home this summer. Im wondering if anyone knows a place to buy hard guitar cases? Iv heard from some people that I may be able to take it as a carryon thru Doha and heathrow to home, but iv learned not to trust Heathrow. I plan on trying to get ahold of them to check this, but does anyone know?
also if anyone is selling a hard cover guitar case could you let me know ? :D thank you kindly

Thanks alot. I have an acoustic at home but im pretty in love with the electric :P its great that I got a response so quickly.
