He cannot and should not touch you in any way. Are there witnesses to this incident? You can report to the police but be prepared for all the consequences.

The problem is we don't have human resource department. He was the operation manager since our general manager is in Lebanon. Where can I go to ask some help regarding this?My concern is not just for my own sake but what if it will happened to my colleagues.I really want to give him a lesson. He is very rude.He likes shouting us in front of many people. Why people are like this?It doesn't mean that he is our immediate boss he can hit us anytime he wants.

It was last Sunday. This is really what happened. My Boss came to me and ask me some receipts.Since its not clarify to me what receipts he really wants I ask him in a polite manner. He has a blue book on his hand.So I hurriedly check the computer for what he is looking for. Then finally my colleague came since I was about to end my shift. With out hesitation he hit me with a blue book 3 times saying I should use my head.I was so shocked and hold my tears and silence. Then my colleague find the receipts he was looking for and gave it to my Boss.My Boss left without even saying sorry. How rude he was.He is Lebanese.

Agree with prism, but you need to be clear about the context in which this happened. Was it as fun, in anger, in disgust etc. was there a confrontation? Did someone see this happen? Your post does not say any of these things. Is this a regular thing happening.

You need to send a written complaint to your hr explaining the incident and check your company protocol for handling grievances. If he is in an influential position, and gets the hint that you are planning on taking action, then he can very well turn the tables on you. So watch whom you discuss this issue with.

First, have a word with him, if he respects you, he will not do it again, But if he does not care, take it up with his Boss and there after HR

Quit as a last resort
