HIA 1st April 2013 Soft Opening

Hamad International Airport (HIA) will be operating selected passenger flights for the first time commencing 1st April 2013. Concourse B at HIA will be open for departing and arriving passengers for 10 foreign airlines who will be operating exclusively out of HIA from the 1st April 2013.

Arriving and departing passengers will be able to use the free shuttle bus service from HIA to Doha International Airport (DIA) and from DIA to HIA to continue their journey if required.

All other airlines will continue to use DIA until the full opening of HIA later this year.

Parking will be available in the short term car park located in front of the passenger terminal complex on the east side. HIA is located on the south-eastern tip of Doha, connected with the city by Ras Abu Abboud Street expressway, also known as F ring road.
