Hit and Run Car Incident
Last Sunday, December 7, 2008,9:30AM, we were surprised about what happened to our car. We parked our vehicle in front of our villa in Dafna Area, Westbay. We were supposed to go to the hospital for my father's scheduled check-up and suddenly we saw our car totally wrecked on the left side, passenger's and driver's seat. No one saw the incident. No one can pinpoint who the suspect was. We do not even know what time it happened. Our car is properly parked close to the sidewalk and the left side-mirror is even folded for safety reasons. We already went to the police for investigation but we can not identify who the responsible person is. This act is a criminal offense.
If someone saw this incident, please help us know who is the suspect for this incident. Or if you are reading this and you are the one who did this, let your conscience hinders you and God knows who you are.
reversing wouldn't have caused that much damage... it looks like it was scrapped, but reversing would have just crumpled it...
Hmmm... this make one so angry, cause it's now a huge inconvenience for the car owner...

Excellent work ...treysdad
Like Sherlock Holmes would say .."Elementry Mr Watson"
The neatly folded left-side-mirror saved it from being ripped off !!!
Although it seems that someone reversed onto your car, a closer look will reveal that you were hit by a speeding car.
1. On the first and third pictures there are visible skid marks on the road hinting someone on high speed hit the brakes causing tire skid marks ending just where your car is.
2. On the first picture you would see the parallel skid marks going a bit to the left (just by your front wheels) indicating that the suspect turned his steering wheel to the left after hitting your car.
3. On the last picture there is a big gash-like damage from the wheel well to the center of the left rear door going deep to the center. This gash will not be done by a reversing car. More likely it was done by a forward moving vehicle.
I hope the suspect gets caught. Although it was accidental he was clearly speeding in a residential street.

it was prolly a 'brainless' ,'sick' person who did it--hope you get caught soon..........
you get what you deserve.........
I agree w/ Jauntie and Vignale. Its the car on the opposite of the road... Most probably, he did it while reversing, and mis calculate his car and bashed on yours. Thats really too bad, i hope that you get a fair justice. My friend an egyptian; has a similar incident he just got his black Mazda 3 from the showroom on the next morning he found a lot of scratch all around the car. The police took all the fingerprints and foot as well,of all the occupants of the compund he lived in. Till date they didnt find out who did it...

I agree with Jauntie, it looks like someone that have reversed in to the Car from the other side of the Street, Turning their car while Reversing. I think you should check all cars usually parked their and see if there are a car with damages at the same height as the impact point on your car.
From the picture (the one which shows cars parked 'nose to the wall' on the opposite side of the road) it almost looks as though someone has reversed from their parking spot on the other side of the road, hit the accelerator instead of the break and slammed into your car.
Any idea what make of car is usually parked across the road from yours?
