How long to wait before getting NOC?

Hi! I am here on residential visa as a driver. I have been here for almost 5 months now. I am trying to get a job on a company but I was told by different people that I would need an NOC to change jobs and can't get the NOC before 1 yr of working under the same employe. Other people have said that the waiting period is actually 6 months! Can anyone give me a definitive answer on how long do I have stay in order to apply/ask for NOC? Thank You all in advance for all your input.

You can only change sponsorship to new company after 2 years with the same company . Other wise you need to leave the country and come back on new Sponsorship . also you will always need an NOC
