How/Where to Complain about Rental disputes
Hi All,
I was statyed in a villa (partitioned room) for 2 years. While taking the rent they said, they will give me back the deposited amount (1 month security deposit QR 3000/- ) after leaving the house.
I left the house and its been one month. Initially they told, they will get the cheque ready within 10days but, I was keep on trying to call him, but no responce now.
Please suggest me how to deal this condition, I would like to get back the deposited amount.
Thanks,
@Renecap i have the same problem, how did you settle your karama bill? To whom or where you made a legal complain?
Rented a flat Apr 2019 to May 2020. By April 15, Kahramaa was cut due to unsettled bills of QAR 3,706 and made a complain immediately and they confirm some problem with the meter. May 1 our new bill came amounting to QAR 2,789 for 4 person occupant. again made a complained with the meter, they keep assuring they will fixed it. Intentionally I did not made payment of our Kahramaa until they fixed the issue as promised, from then every month our electricity continuously disconnected every month. No action was taken until we finished the contract and we have no option but to move out. Now the owner insisting to settle all the total bill amounting to 14,434.. Partially I made payment of 8,245.00, still they insisting to settle the dues.
Anyone can advise me,as this is the first we rented under my name. I just fell I was robbed here, as in our new flat we paid only 453 for 2 months bills.
I can make complain? where and who the right authority. Appreciate any advise.
Hi,
I stayed in a small room with Qr. 950 rent per month. I have deposited equivalent to one month rent and now want to leave the room with one month notice and adjust the rent of notice period from my deposite amount. But they want me still to pay one month rent. Can it not be adjusted the rent of notice period from deposited amount?
if you signed any agreement for the said deposit amount, you can complain him to the local police and raise your concerned. if not still you can just make sure you have everything proof to show to them your staying there.
