please help me.....

I m working for a leading co in Doha. I m a Salesman. I was hit to the back part of my truck by a high speed BMW car when i was driving to the warehouse. my truck was turned toppled twice and thrown away from the road....

I was bleeding heavily.... It was from my head. Thanks to God i was taken to the hospital immidiately. Since there was pain on my shoulder they took xray and said it was allright. After that they took me to the theater to put stiches on my head. Though i was hit hardly on my head they never scanned my head...

After 5 days i was told to come to take off the stiches,, but then at that time i told them to scan my head as i was getting headache frequently.
They denied to do..............................................................................

Please help me ,,, I really have no body here .do i get insuarance to pay me, and what else .... how do i support my hospital charges.

Thank you,

I agree with you on some point, but I dont think they're interested only in money, if you mean the hospital management itself? in the first place, if you are a resident in Qatar and holding a valid Health Card, medical services at HMC are usually free of charges and/or it will be at a very low cost. If you really want to get a quick consultation, you can avail the evening clinic consultant, they only charge some extras compared to the regular fees.

And your company has a Workmen Compensation Policy under the Law. You can request your company to submit a claim. You will be compensated if there is a permenent disability.

I am a westerner and I was very surprised last week while at the local hospital to see how we are all treated in comparison to the natives. Although I am sure I fared better than other expats it was still crap service and they are only interested in the money. When I asked the receptionist to log my appointment onto their web site she told me they don't bother because the people that come there are a "different" class of people and it doesn't do any good to use the available services. Although I had an appointment I waited 3.5 hrs for my turn and then they asked me why I was there. The were numerous natives called in first to the doctor's office although I was the 5th person in line at the cashiers and they could not possibly have got there first. And it was wonderful to see all the natives stop at the doors and hold private consultations with the doctors although they had no number.

Good luck in your pursuit to good treatment.

insurance ... you can claim your partial disability from other party insurance Company. Better check with your Insurance Company or your Company HR/ Admin dept.

They should be able to help you.

Ask your company if its possible for them to reimburse your expenses if you consult at private hospital like Doha clinic or Al-Ahli hospital. Tell them about your frequent headache talk to your HR-manager or Medical officer of your company. They may contact the guy who hitted you to shoulder your expenses too?

Does your company reimburse employees medical expenses in private hospital/clinics?

You had an accident while on duty, your company must shoulder your expenses for treatment. Or whatabout the BMW driver who hitted you? Have you got any police report at HMC-Emergency during the time?

Everything is free in Emergency Unit if you have a HMC health Card.
