I wanted to find out if anyone on the list has imported a Car from their home country. I have a very decent car in Canada and would like to bring my car over, is it worth it? Anyone have an idea about shipping costs and other related expenses?
Check the other threads on importing cars to Qatar. Anything over 5 years (I think) old cannot be imported. Check the threads. Cars in the Gulf are also modified for the hot weather.

I priced shipping my motorcycle home from Qatar and was quoted a price of $700.00 US for 200 Kilo. I figure it may be cheaper to ship to here from Canada. I priced air frieght, but if you have it shipped by sea instead, it may be even less expensive.
