iPad Repairs etc

Please could someone guide me to a good iPad repair person? Its not charging currently and some shops I approached here are providing vague responses to the problem. Many thanks in advance.

had charging problem - we then found out from Apple store that no ipad1 is repaired in Doha because they were not 'officially' released here. Virgin had to send it to Dubai for repair/replacement (lucky for us it was under warranty). The apple store said ipad2 could be serviced in Doha, just not the ipad1.
