KIA after sales service

Anybody here who owns a KIA vehicle can give me an idea on how good or bad KIA aftersales is? Also, if you own a KIA Sportage 2007/2008 model, how does it perform? Is the price worth it?

Thank you very much.

Thanks boer for giving me more reason to like it...how many years/km is the warranty for free parts and labor or is there any?

Thanks.

I've been to the inland sea. No big dunes or anything spectacular, but I did do a few medium size dunes. The car handled it all. In fact, because it's not so heavy and has good power, I think it's good off road.

I am just scared to try a big dune. It may not have enough power to get to the top.

Hope this helps your decision.

Thank you for your replies...I understand that most service centers are located in industrial area, so that's a given already. I am also elated to know that you still have no major problems with your sportage, and it made me more eager to see the 2008 model hehehe...

One more thing, have you tried your sportage in off roads, not necessarily in hard desert area. How was it?

I have a 2.7 bought in October 2006. I'm very happy with it. The performance is excellent and it drives really comfortably. Have had 3 services and so far no complaints. Except the location of the service centre - in the Industrial Area.

Go ahead and get it - you won't be sorry.

The Only Less Point for KIA, Only One place for Service in Industrial Area (Salwa Road) but for overall after service I can say with 8 rank, Now I drive with KIA Sportage models, the performance no doubt upto now. and I still maintenance my car in there.
