Lost & Found at Doha Airport

Can anyone please tell me where the lost and found office/desk is at Doha airport? My daughter lost her coat when she arrived and since then my friend went and inquired about lost property at arrivals. They showed her to a desk which was not accessible for people coming to pick up arrivals. Does anyone have any information of where I can go to find out about lost property? Also, does anyone know the distance between arrivals and departures? Is it walking distance? An idea was that my daughter will just collect her coat when she leaves in a couple of weeks as she won't need it during her stay in Doha. Would appreciate any help or information. Thanks.

lost and found desk is at arrivals.Ask the cleaners or baristas at coffee beanery n sure they will guide you.

Its not a walking distance. 7 min drive when there is no traffic
