Medical Info please ....Thanks

Hello,

I got a job offer from Qatar Govt. I don't have enough information yet and really not sure what is the requirement for medical? I am Australian citizen and currently at Brisbane/Australia.

1. So, my medical test will be here in Australia or once I arrive in Qatar?

2. I do have asthma and type 2 diabetic, is that okay to get Medical clearance?

3. I need to take regular medication for Asthma- do I need to buy the inhaler from private pharmacy? or it will be covered by the free medical option?

qn 1 your med test will be here in qatar within 1 month of arrival.

qn 2 DM and BA are not a problem for medical clearance.

qn 3 inhalers can be very easily purchased once you get your health card from hamad medical corporation or health centres.

this may take a while so i suggest you bring sufficient meds to cover for a gap,of 2-3 months. good luck.
