acer is having a new one with dual boot, windows and anroid, check it out. its not expensive also. around 1000 to 1100

May be it's bad luck for your friend. If any laptop becomes hot quickely it depends on processor quality(Specially AMD processor). Also aware that keep the vantilation window free always during using laptop to keep it cool. I have also Toshiba(Tablet) & HP (Touch screen) & both working fine. No trouble at all.

if you got your IPAD , you will forget to use LAPTOP or PC, that's my 3rd time that i bought the IPAD ,

I will still recommend you the APPLE IPAD.
