Mobile Beautician seeking advise
Hi All
Hope you’re well and enjoying the Eid celebrations!!
Hopefully someone can advise me, my husband and I are moving to Qatar and I am planning to work from home.
I am trained in individual eyelash extensions, gel polish and manicures/pedicures. What I am trying to discover is; is it easy enough to establish yourself as a mobile beautician or would I be required to advertise myself? I can’t find many adverts for independent mobile beauticians in Qatar and this got me wondering about regulations. I have global liability insurance already but I can’t find anything regarding laws concerning working from home, do I have to get a certificate or anything? Lastly, do you think I can make a respectful income from WFH? On average how much cheaper are home services than salons and is there much call for eyelash extensions and gel polish?
I would really appreciate your help, I’m a little apprehensive about the move because I don’t want to be completely reliant on my husband.
Thank you and Eid Mubarak!!
Layla

There are lots of beauty opportunities out here. The salons are expensive and not always the best quality! You could make a lot of money. For example, I am a teacher and live with 20 other young female teachers.. We all get beauty treatments done but all at different places. If you came to our compound to do our nails and charged a reasonable amount. U could make a fortune! Xx
Are you up and running and what nail treatments can you do?
Layla, Charge reasonably to your customers ..... Good Luck .... Welcome to Qatar .... !
Still you take some money from your husband every month and save in your name with his consent ...........
Brilliant! Yes I will be sponsored on my husbands visa. Thanks for your help :)
If you are under husband sponsorship you don't require any local sponsor for doing freelancing so called Mobile Beautician. Only thing you need to make as many as contacts to move further.
You need a local sponsor to operate legally.
