My blind cat
I need help. This is our problem. We adopted a cat from one of the QL members over a year ago as he had to leave and did not know what to do with this cat. I am a big suck and took her in. She is totally blind, however that does not mean that she is helpless. As a matter of fact she is very able and very lovable. She loves to cuddle and sit on your lap.
But we have a problem. We have 5 other cats. Most of which are rescue animals. Now Lilie is terrorizing the other cats to the extend that they are soo afraid of her. They wont even use the cat toilet anymore because of her scent in there. The result is that they do their business all over the house, and preferably my daughters bed. I seem to be washing her bedding a couple of times per week. Keep the door closed I hear you say. Yes we do. But Tiggy, one of our other cats opens doors. So, hence the bed wetting & poo.
Also we have fights in and around the house. And poor Sassy (6 months) gets the brunt of it.
Now my need for help is either someone teaches me/her how to behave or I need someone who can adopt her. She will make a lovely cat for someone. But she needs to be alone.
Please help us. We look forward to receiving some positive replies.
But she is really sweet though! It never used to be a problem, but these last months it is really getting bad and she terrorizes the others & they all seem to adopt the hissing from her. They used to be so peaceful all together. So yes I think I need to get rid of her to get peace in my cat family again. She would make someone a very good house cat. And would love to find a new owner for her.

sounds like your blind cat really needs to be in a household where she is the only cat... some cats are like this!
