I have an indonesian passport, normally when i turn up in UAE i have to show my Qatar ID card, filled up a form and pay 100 DHS for the visa on arrival on the immigration desk.

Since i have an indonesian passport, i can't travel to UAE alone ... my husband have to be with me. Don't ask me why.

Qatar resident who needs a visa to UAE will still need a visa to UAE, but if your profession is a "white collar" - i.e. doctor, engineer, manager, you can get it on the border. Remember that in order to get the visa on the border you should have lived in Qatar with resident permit for 6 months.

i think all what you need is an exit permit, which your sponsor should assit you with. I believe also you would not need a visa to enter UAE considering that you have a resident permit at Qatar.
