Nestle Water
Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone else has shared a similar experience:
I signed up with Nestle's home water delivery service about 2 months ago, for the large dispensor type bottles. You can imagine my excitement at the thought that I didn't have to lug water back from the shops anymore and that my arms might revert back to their normal length!
But about every second week without fail, we received a bottle with some kind of bleach which is just utterly undrinkable. And I don't mean it tastes a little off, I mean it is actually totally undrinkable - even in this heat and with no other water in the house!
Obviously, in true Doha style you pay in advance and their 'customer service' is appalling (think Faulty Towers and you get the general idea). They won't cancel the remainder of the contract, despite acknowledging the problem. So they simply take your cash and provide occasionably drinkable water - what a winner!!
Anyway, I was hoping someone might be able to recommend an alternative supplier who is reliable?
Many thanks in advance..
Do report them to the consumer rights' office. Just keep one of the defective bottles with you and have them sample the water for evidence.
These types of complaints are generally taken very seriously. However, do the consumer rights officers turn a blind eye to breaches from big multinationals such as nestle remains to be seen.
But do not let this pass.
Please attempt to post a new comment again, thanks.
We use Al-Safa and its good !!
There are others like Qatarat & Al-Manhal
Never prepaid, they will always supply stale water.
Try reporting them to consumer rights and make of it a quality issue that they breached the contract when they started sending u bleached and undrinkable water... The contract is already broken between the two of you as they did not provide you with clean drinkable tastless water... So if i were you i'd definitly give consumer rights a call, wonders may happen (or even nothing at all) but i think the latter is unlikely because they tend to take such complaints seriously, good luck and let us know what happens next
We use Safa
They come to my tower in the pearl every thurs, so far haven't had any problems in the 6 months i've been using them
