Dear All,

I have an very good offer from an government organization here in Doha.Basically my background is senior Electrical engineer.Presently i am employed in an private organization. a) Will it be a problem for me to join government from private organization as i am not sure whether my sponsor is ready to provide me with the NOC. b) Is the NOC a must requirement even if we are joining governement departments. Already i have completed more than a year with my present company.

Kindly advice how to come out of this situation please as the new offer is excellent from the government sector. Is it possible for them (government organization)to do anything legally on this?

Thanks & Regards, Ahmed

with regards to Government office hiring, THEY can demand the private sector to give you release and the private office NEEDS to comply because that is the right of the government, that is, if you're really that important and needed by the goverment. All they have to do is send a letter to the private sector and you're free!

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!

No matter who you are, who wants to employ you, or how long you've been with your current employer, you always need an NOC.

Not even the government can help you. You are at the mercy of your sponsor.

NOC is REQUIRED anyway. No matter who you join.
