I read in Doha news that changing of car plates will be until Nov. 27, 2012 only. My car registration is renewed last february 1. Our useless mandoob did not inform me that within 1 month we must get the new plate. So after a verrryyyy loooooong line in the 2nd week of March the police told me that my plate was canceled already. My question is..can i still get the new plate? If yes..where can i get it? IS there a penalty? Pls i need ur knowledge here as i am afraid that after Nov. 27 police might notice my old plate and charge me some penalty...

You must apply for a new one before that deadline which will cost you 200 Riyals and if not after 27th November you will be fined for not changing/applying.
