Ummm, it seems I may exagerrated a bit above.  I believe that I said "...all of the instructions and recipes."  That may have been a bit of an over-statement, it would be more accurate to say "The instructions on the back of the frozen food boxes."

Oh dear, I seem to have given the wrong impression.

Let us be clear on this issue-know 475, love 475, use 475.  If it can't be cooked at 475 degrees you have no need of it.

Conversion charts-sheesh!  Next you'll be wanting me to measure the amount of coffee I put in the coffee maker!?

gumby - never fear as help is here....lol

i got the conversion chart here for fahrenheit to celcius if ya wannit

I think that to atone for her rudeness, Ms. Zyga should volunteer to man the oven at my place during the gathering.

Ksarat-worry not, I will not invite people over for a "moving party"

By Gumby• 5 May 2008 16:54
Gumby

Yes, but the oven uses that  American system of measuring, while all of the instructions and recipes I have are in standard.  No one told me the oven was  American, so when the instructions say 200 degrees, I dutifully set it at 200 degrees, when really it should have been at like 475 American degrees or something.  Who knew?

Damn you, Zyga for sharing my dark little secret! Damn you woman. ;-)

Sure but just in case you dont call people over to MOVE the stuff...lol...

By Gumby• 5 May 2008 14:39

Hmmmm, I'm moving out of my place in the near future.  I have no garden or yard or anything as nice as Ksarat's, but maybe I could have people over after the movers come.  Then a mess would not be a problem at all.  Something to think about....

I ache for a dessert at Elli France. They have that spong cake topped with 3 or 4 scoops of ice cream with tropical fruits and chocolate syrup

Kelly's Heroes-I'm glad you brought up Kitty's  familiarity with the Opera menu.  It is now clear why she  has that "weight problem".

Ishutanu, enjoy the Cake, but remember next time you write here that you turn off your Caps Lock.  Writing with Caps Lock on is not polite.

It is regarded as shouting

if u're talking about the small pieces of cake, they range from 3 to 6 riyals, but if u're asking about a full sized cake, then they start from around 90 riyals and going up.
