Can anybody give me any idea of how long will it take to renew a passport in the Philippine Embassy and how much?

mine also took around 2 weeks. i didn't expect it to get renewed so early and i was on vacation when i got the message so i didn't claim it right away. i'm impressed. it takes months to simply get an appointment if you apply for a passport in dfa manila.

moshod, they will cancel your old passport once you come to claim the new one. but you still get to keep it afterwards. until the new passport comes, you can still use the old one as long as it's not yet expired.

Went there early, stood in line for about 30 minutes and paid QAR240 at the window. After paying, you will be guided inside another room where you have to wait for your turn to have your details and photo taken. It just takes a few minutes depending on how many people are ahead of you. I received a text message to claim my passport in about 2 weeks. It usually takes 1 month or so. I just got lucky:)

QAR240. if you get there early, the whole process takes a little more than an hour and they'll just text you once your new passport is available
