(hope this is not your true name) and exposing your intent here put you in a very precarious situation. And believe me, you are prone to the "eyes".

If I were you, edit your post and removed your comment.

I was call center agent and my wife back in the philippines, combining our salary and we got around almost 50php gross, unfortunately because of "tax" I was pissed off and decided to leave philippines, Im here in Qatar for a week now still looking for a Job, my couzin provided me business visa. If you already have a visathe question is how far you can go?

BE carefull for these people Immigration - Even if you do have a sponsor or invitation letter it is so hard to pass this immmigration because they will ask you some documents that you dont know where or how to get. I know someone that denied 4 times only to be told to pay 25k for approval... Jeeezzz..

NO guts NO glory, brace yourself Its no that easy to find a job in here but It is easy to survive once you got a job. Pray my friend remember that god will answer: Yes, Not know or I have something better for you.

now based on the comments, please my friend, think and think before trying the risk... if you have a lots of money.. then go for it! i have a filipino friend that with the same case as you freshly out from the university and trying his luck here but good lucks never came until 3 months he flew back in manila.. If you can wash the dishes, can do as bagger in supermarkets, laborer... then prepare yourself even you're a college grad.. This is the reality in the State of Qatar...

The world is looking at Qatar now, especially after being awarded to host the world cup 2022. The constructions have already begun and should continue another 8 to 10 years. There would be thousands of recruitments in all disciplines...so, you should see it as a good time to come and work here.

There's a lot of opportunity here... BUT the chance of getting a good job for fresh graduates are pretty small... You will be graded base on your experience... (they have it here., like Grade A,B,C... so on and so forth)... Take your time, get some experience for at least a year or two... (but seems that you already have a ticket going here...........well., You just be strong once here, be confident and dont let others intimidate you ;)

This is not the right country to try ones luck my friend... Otherwise if you have family here who will help you, maybe you can survive. But for fresh graduate without work experience that would be very difficult for you to find a job of your field.  Fact is that job market here is bit slow.

I agree with flor1212 you have to gain experience first  because this country is not a training ground for a fresh grad it will be very difficult for you to find a good paying jobs here its not the diploma that counts its the skills and experience. goodluck

don't try your luck here as a fresh graduate, no opportunity for you.  Either you end-up underemployed and underpaid OR you find nothing here. And maybe you will lose a friend because in the end, you will just blame him or her for your misfortune!

try to gain even minimum experience there in our country, then apply in many agencies there and start at the minimum.  As a fresh graduate, you'll just end -up as "dishwasher" here. Going here you need skills, not a diploma per se.  Try to broaden your knowledge by pursuing other skills such as applied skills for ECE graduate (either autocad or anything that could compliment your degree).  You will just be sorry here.Three friends of my daughter just went home this month after working an average of six months here (two are college graduate with very minimum experience, one is an engineering graduate). They came here as family visit and business visa and yet, after a short "happy" moments while working here, they are now back in Manila, poorer than before. Good afternoon there!

i admire your guts and fighting spirit in taking the risk and spending a fortune coming here in qatar without any assurance that you will find a job within that 3 months period. 4 years back, it was very easy to find a job here. many things had change alot in qatar now. anyhow better try and gamble here for a better opportunity rather than staying there in our country. hirap din maghanap daw dyan. ok, wish you luck and try to contact me when you are here or try to send ur cv to me now so that i can give it to some of my contacts. two weeks more bago ka pumunta d2, at least nakakalat na ang cv mo ([email protected]). hope i can extend some help to you insha allah...

I would advice you to try employment agencies before taking the risk of having a business visa and then looking for a job here in Qatar, there are success stories and there are not so good ones, for a fresh graduate it would be a much smarter move to go through an employment agency there in the Philippines and have a certain job offer before going abroad.

why d'nt u try agency going here. it will cost and risky a lot going in Qatar using visit or business visa. Or if someone referd u in one company and the assurance that they will care for u then better. Because going here that way is a gamble specialy ur a fresh graduate, i am not discouraging you but i care for u as my kabayan cuz that situation already happened to me. im working now far from my profession, not enough salary and not happy. anyway kung nandyan na yan, ingat na lang kabayan.
