service is very good they are kind and competent. however I found that spare parts might have a cost even double than europe (example, control panel for xenon injector, right head light 3000 QR instead of 300 Euro). Better to find a car with warranty still valid and in case extend the warranty plan. Cost of consumables is overall reasonable.
Newexpatqatar, 5 series is a good call. If you're still looking, I've got a 530i for sale - black, tint wins, custom brakes, wheels, HD front and back camera, 88,000 / 55k miles, all std equipments available. All service and check up done by Al Fardan. Car is in great shape. Also I'd be happy to pass on my service agent contact at Al Fardan. Frankly, service is expensive but discounts and giveaways make a difference....gotta talk to the right people.

Newexpat...obviously the regular or scheduled services @ BMW service center will be more as compared to outside service shops/garages, if the car is still under BMW dealer warranty. If warranty is expired, then buying original spares from dealer are always costly for European / American cars...
take other color as white is common and looks like limousine or car lift if you look at it on a distance. just an opinion to share :3
