QATAR CUSTOMS

Hi All,

I would like to bring some personal belongings about 18 Kgs from USA by USPS. My brother is the one who will be sending it to me. My brother have been told by USPS that i have to visit QATAR CUSTOMS to collect the items.
Could somebody tell me the procedure? Where is the customs? and what shall i provide the Qatar customs to collect my belongings?

Any advice will be appreciated.

use aramex much cheaper and you collect from Aramex office

If your brother ships the goods through USPS by airmail it will arrive at the goods department at Doha Airport, in Airport Road, he must email the shipment details to you and if you track the shipment you will know when it arrives in Doha. Go to the goods department, there is clearing agents who will assist you for a fee but makes the process pain free. OR ELSE Join Aramex Ship & Shop Tel +974 4 4141217 - Mob +974 7 7151321, call them and they will help you to register. Cost of joining is QR120 (once off payment) then you will get a NY address to where your brother has to sent your parcel, Aramex will contact you when it arrives in Doha and you will pay the shipment fee on delivery here in Qatar. By far the best and quickest way to do it, your parcel will be with you in about a week max.
