Rejection of visa???

How can a visitor visa can be rejected even my friend booked a hotel and passed all the necessary documents.they even asked a letter in Arabic stating what is the purpose of her visit here in Qatar. Her uncle gave the letter and xerox of his Qatar ID stated there just want to visit relatives and watch the ongoing AFC Asian Football Club.after submiiting the leters through E-mail within an hour they said visa was rejected and asking her any further assistance just let them know.Is this a joke?Clearly the booked rooms are fully paid and the visa fee as well.Any help or advice outthere?im just really wondering how in an hour they can say the visa application was rejected.I bet it never even submitted to immigration though!

In every country in the world visit visa can be rejected if the immigration is not satisfied that the person has enough ties in their home country. If she showed more ties to Qatar, being single, and not enough ties to her home country (i.e. letter of employment from Malaysia with confirmed leave dates), then of course her visa was rejected - sorry.

I feel sorry for what happened to you. Visa fee once submitted is non refundable . I get the feelng the hotel never even tried to apply, as normally hotels do get visas more easily than individuals. So investigate.

On the other hand I dont l dont blame Qataris. The country is dominated with expats who are genetically mean and selfish, who have even imposed their own languages wherever possible and do not adapt to the local society.

why dont you check with the hotel and arrange a tourist visa.

Why did they reject? They suspect she might engage in "the worlds oldest profession". LOL!

Even very open GCC countries like Bahrain and UAE stop giving visas for single women just before the Formula 1 GP (for approx 1 month) or any major event. They do this to control the number of "working girls". Temporary clean up of image until the event is over, and then back to normal. I suspect the same with the Asian Cup happening here.

@arduana...u never get the point.she submitted the ducuments plus the fees and everything yesterday..within an hour they said not approved..without emailing the disapproved stamp from immigration.tHey just clearly wants money..not she want a money or job in Qatar.and even u booked hotel in Qatar specially if its online..no refund back.she cant apply visa without booking a hotel first right?thats the Qatar Embassy asked her to do.who's robbing someones pocket then?

i dont blame them.. i like their ways..i love it..coz here is enough maids who are stealing, runing away, many people who do things in the cars i dont wanna mention what...we all know it..enough gay workers..i dont blame them for not allowing them get in the country.. if they would have the chance they would kick the qataris out and rule their country,,,...

i love qatar like it is and with its laws....not everyone should enter ...there must be a reason why ur friend cant enter..there is 100%

thats qatar, take it or leave it..they can do whatever they want..their country,, their money, they can decide who will come and who not... and good..coz they dont let that easily people come.. otherwise va lot of low class people would rule qatar!!!!

thats why?its QR250 fee for application and they said its rejected.and asking them for refund..had no immediate reply.funny isnt it?and the worst the particular of her Credit card was with them. What will happen to World Cup if even Asian Cup..they dont allow anybody to enter the country.what hurt her most when the hotel replied her for further assistance regarding visa please let the hotel know. They know what to do?only i was thinking of they want to charge the credit card as much they can simply saying Sorry ur application was rejected.

No, they probably apply on the new system

call the Hotel and ask to speak to the Reservation Manager and tell him that you need either to get the visa or cancel the reservation otherwise i will publish that in the newspaper that your hotel is cheating on AFC so what will they do in World cup 2022
