Whilst we appreciate that you have good intentions, QL does not support the trade in animals/pets.
I have sent you a PM explaining the reason for that rule.
Regards
Honestly that's just irresponsible. You won't be able to find good, responsible homes for them - guarenteed. All you have to do is look at all the "persian" cats for sale that people got as kittens and are bored of. Or look at all the long-haired kittens/cats in the shelter looking for new homes because they've been abandoned.
There are enough cats in this country already, don't bring anymore into it.
Just be careful who you rehome them to. Saying they're persian (even half persian) will bring the world & their wife wanting one just as a showpiece. You also need to ensure that the new owner will guarentee to get them neutered.
And get the mum fixed as soon as the kittens are weaned!!
qatari ppl r nt bad as u think . n inshallah keep faith in me n i dnt knw y it alwayz endz at nationalityz der is another bond betwn us v all r muslims and plz dnt judge me coz of ma nationality itz freakz me out
cos if you are going to say they treat animals badly I will be annoyed.
I have seen a pet cat go to the Qatari man who had it and lift up its paw with a thorn and sat there whilst he took it out. such was the trust this little animal had.
if you send an email through to [email protected] now, we can put them on a waiting list to come in 6 - 8 weeks time if you don't rehome them, that way, we make space for them as we adopt out:-)
thanks Scribbler... for a second there, I was feeling like all our hardwork was for nothing...
and thank you for thinking about it like that... most people would just dump them at the shelter and expect us to take them in...
Currently we have 6 puppies that lost their mum that we are bottle feeding... I agree.. keep the kittens with their mum as long as possible, it is way less work than the night shifts I am currently doing;-P
Oh Xena, I'm so sorry, I actually meant quite the opposite. I used to volunteer for a long time at an animal shelter & would see people abandon their pets there with no second thought, even though most knew they may ultimately be put down.
I've visited the shelter before and its quite a bit nicer than the one I used to be at when I was younger.
One thing I've understood is that shelters are always in short supply so I'd like to do my part and not burden you guys without at least trying to find alternatives first as it may actually come to asking you to take care of them.
It's just how much I genuinely appreciate what you guys do.

Yea, I'm Qatari.
Xena, thanks for your support, will drop you an email shortly.
problem is, I don't want the mum neutered yet. Was planning to have a full litter of full persian kittens in about 6 months time.
Full persians are not so hard to home. We can't buy or sell cats/dog so giving them away is the only real option.

Mohamed i cant understand your words but i think that was rude to ask if you are Qatari.
Pennie - I know and I have seen it in practice :) This guy loves animals...and they know it.

Aesops fable....for those who don't know....the wild lion who let the kind man remove a thorn from it;s paw and understood the kindness.
What has being a Qatari got to do with it?

so don't begin with generalising too much.

Are you a Qatari?
ok bro n dnt worry i cn handle thm ...m cat lover
make sure you know the person you are giving them too.
there is a trend here (and elsewhere) to take cats and then let dogs have 'sport' with them.
I have seen the videos - unfortunately.
it would seriously be better to get them put down than have that fate.
