Removing furniture in furnished apartment
Hi guys,
Me and my 2 new girl room mates have signed a lease for 1 year for a 3 bedroom furnished flat in Al Sadd. The flat came fully furnished as per the lease. The furniture is not up to standard.
I have brand new furniture in my old apartment and us 3 have agreed to move it into our new apartment. All we want is for the landlord to move out the old furniture in the apartment so i can move mine in. We don't seek a decrease in the rental price or anything and have even offered to pay for the transportation costs of their old furniture.
The landlord has rejected our request and says the old furniture needs to stay in the apartment.
Is this fair? Al we are asking is for them to remove it and store it - while we pay the same rental each month.
We just really want our new furniture instead of the old furniture provided.
We need help. Is there anything we can do?
he might not have any storage location.. y will he bare the expense of transportation? and forcefully if he store this furniture in a room, he is blocking one room of his... who knows that room might also benefit him by earning something.
No, furniture will remain in there... for the landlord you might not only one single customer. he may have N number of customers. and if he keeps on listening to each of his tenants like this then he will go crazy... because like you each customer has different requirements and different taste of living.
Would that not be expensive to do?
Why not remove it yourself and put it into storage .
