salary for qa/qc engineer (civil)

Dear friends,

am a civil qa/qc engineer.i have 3years experiance.currently workiing in saudi arabia.recently i got a job offer from qatar,for the same post.they offered me 5500qr apart from bachelor accomdtn and transprtn along with overtime. Did,this offer is a decent one for a 3year experainced qa/qc engineer ? Did i could hope for better oppurtunts there,after having 2-3years experaince there ? please advise me.i also need advise whthr i could have a better family life there,if i brings my family there after maaryn my sweetheart.

Since I am from the same field, not in QA/QC ... en engineer of 3 years experience 5500 QAR take home is not that bad a salary. ( unfortuntely you hold an indian passport , or otherwise that QAR could be changed to EUR). Its called a "white" reservation. Never mind leave it.

Coming to the point if the company is taking care of your accomodation, food and transport, its fine.

some thumb rules

1. Always aim for a min 20% hike from your exisitng salary when u jump.

2. QAR7000 minimum is required if you want to sponsor your family.

NB: Just check the reliability of the company. In your case 6500QAR should be the max. if you are into the construction field as per the current market scenario. Oil and gas , the whole scenario changes.

how much are you getting in Saudi. Expense is almost double compared to Saudi

its kinda low than the average rate but its not that very bad to grab it for the meantime.

hi der..personally i think dats better than working in saudi..ur 2-3yrs experience is not much..ur still young..in doha it depends on life style..but be aware dat accommodation here s very expensive..its gud dat u have free accommodation..come to doha..big oppurtunities r waiting 4 u here..
