Should I apply for a VISA ??

I have a work permit in Qatar, and i am looking to spend the weekend in Dubai should i apply for a VISA or no ?

Make sure that your occupation is stated correctly on your Residence Permit. I had a friend whose just said "Employee" and Qatar Airways refused to let him on the flight from Doha to Dubai. To make sure, you could check with the embassy and they would give you a visa.

if you have a resident visa here in Qatar it will be applied to the whole Gulf area, as its treated as on territory

Usually there are categories of jobs that are allowed in UAE without visa (u get visa at airport). In general if you are a none clerical and non laborer then you are allowed. The profession should be stated at your Qatari ID.

Guess they have another condition to be resident in any GCC country for at least 6 months.

To be sure, check with airliner.

If you are Muslim had better for you to spend your vacation in

devotional . Go Saudi Arabia near your prophet and spend your time in pray and thank your Good. Don't wast your time .
