Tips on renting flat/villa

Hey everyone, Ramadan kareem!

Finally, rents in Qatar are going down and it's become easier to move around! Unfortunately though, it seems very difficult to find housing without somehow getting into trouble - paying too much, getting roped into an unfair contract, etc.

I am writing an article about the best ways to approach home-hunting, and would love to interview some QLers about their experiences. Please PM me so we can talk!
