Travel Agents Cheating Public

DO NOT FALL PREY TO TRAVEL AGENTS OFFERING FREE STAY HERE AND THERE. THEY ARE CHEATERS.

Some Travel agents in Qatar are approaching customers with family status (mainly expartiates) in shopping malls and offer then free stay at Egypt, Turkey, Dubai Etc and lure them to visit their office only with family.

They are professionally trained to cheat people by telling big discount, free this free that etc finally make them pay certain money ranging from 1000-10000 to get membership after that provide some contract papers pre-signed by their Owners (These people working there are part time employees) and get fat commission on getting customers to the company.

They speak to you very very sweetly (all are liers and cheaters) and they complement each other on all circumstances to finalise the deal.

The money paid is one way traffic (Once you pay can not be returned even after you pay QR 15000), as they provide contract papers underneath one another and ask you to sign (sir it will take only two minutes) only three signatures without showing the contents in other pages (continuation sheets) etc. They take one copy and put other papers in the envelope and handover to you,

When you read contract:
The contracts first para itself read like this "Whatever said verbally or in other papers are not part of the contract". As the sales guy tells you are VIP you can book in any five star hotel anywhere in the world (even near disney land) about 4700 hotels and only QR 500/- but actually that is totally reversed in the contract (500 only in middle east that too only from the list of hotels which they provide even that we have to book 21 days before.

If you do not pay 3 months instalment then that is you will lose you total money with them.

So please dear public if any one approach you for free stay tell him on his face you are cheater and lier, in order to discourage these companies in cheating the public.

Kindly spread this news to all people you know. I will provide the names of some of these companies later.

When did you paid and did you read the contract wordings.

If not go through it carefully. They would have told you VIP, anywhere anytime you go etc but actually in the contract they would have mentioned that whatever said verbally or in writing other than the contract papers signed are not part of the contract eventhough you hold it in your hand some scriblings of the sales guy or so called Managers would have written during 1 hour brain washing.

Yes that was my real concern and I do not want other people get cheated by these black hearted people.

They are taking away the hard earned money of expartiates who leave their mother countries just to earn some good money for a decent living.

In order stop these people from doing these activities, I encourage the public to meet them in the malls and tell on their face "you cheats and liers" as loudly as possible, so that the Mall authorities and other pubic around there could also come to know.

I will keep sending messages on this issue so that people will not forget and will be alert.

you could have just paid for a year which would have costed you only 5000. now that you have paid 15,000. the onus is on you to travel and make use of it.

Are we still doing this?? Surely the rule of thumb here is that if something appears to good to be true and your spidey senses are allerted then it probably is - especially here in Qatar where in general terms you dont get "ought for nought".

Common sense people - if someone starts a conversation with you for no apparent reason, who's interest do you think the outcomes will be in - yours?? Nah.

Who - in the world - is stupid enough to fall for such things? It's an honest question.
