Travel around Qatar?

Hi again all,

I need a point of reference about traveling round Qatar in a taxi, since I have never been there.

Say if I wanted to travel by taxi (or best type form of transport there), say from Sports City to the airport, how long a journey would be in terms of time and how much would it cost?

I am trying to get an idea to help a friend out.
