Dear Daud, ACL tear = anterior cruciate ligament, normally if your ACL has tear or damage then there is chance of damage in you MENISCUS Also. So consult with your doctor with your MRI Scan. ACL operation doctors will "reconstruct your ACL" it can not be repaired. if you feel more pain and swelling, it is better to go for ACL Reconstruction operation, because if you remain untreated, after age of 50+ you will get more pain and selling in your knee, so better go for "laparoscopic surgery", and the healing period will be 2X3 weeks you need minimum 2 month rest for best result,
if you need more details please call me on my mobile, (mobile # Pls check your inbox)
My dear i have gone through so many surgeries. i do not want to write in details. The doctors you mentioned on above, They all are NOT enough qualified to do the best treatment. i would recommended you to go Pakistan or India...If not Go to Hamad. they will not look for insurance money they will give you good advise.
Best of luck.
My suggestion is to immediately consult Doc. BHATT of ICON MEDICAL CENTRE (40191200 for an appointments). In Your case, You can go in an emergency after making sure that the Doctor is available in the clinic.
Hope this helps you & I wish you all the best.
