US Dollar exchange to QAR

Hi Guys, I'm just new here in Qatar and the only money I have here, aside from my cash advance from the company I'm working with is my 600 US Dollar Bills. These Us Dollar Bills I have are all Series 2006 and I went to some money exchangers in Lulu and Al Fardan Exchange in Vilagio and Ezdan did not accept it and they told me that they only accept series 2009 Us Dollar bills. Please anyone help me or tell me if there are any other money exchangers or banks that accept this type of US dollar bill? Please? I really need it badly..Thanks!!!

Same issue. Last night I was told to check with QNB or airport money exchange only

Hi!

I have the same problem, 2006 USD100 dollar bill. I was advised by many foreign exchange tellers that they no longer accept this. Also, I have checked with other banks but they also reject this. Anyone who have the same experience?

Please let me know.

they are located near sword signal, doha al jadeed, u can cross verify with then through phone whether they accept 2006 series.

please google their number, they are open after 4 pm
