Visa Profession change

Hi,

I working as an Engineer in a reputed company..unfortunately my profession in visa stamped as a technician.I applied for visa profession change in labour dept and it s approved there. But some paper has to move from labour dept to immigriation dept to complete the procedue..but unfortunately that paper not yet reached in immigration dept. how long will take this to reach immigration dept and approval from there...................kindly advise..........Also how can we trace this.
