Wear Pink Thursday
Have you ever asked anyone, even a stranger on the street if they or someone the love has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer? If you have the answer would most likely be yes!
The stories you would hear are sometimes heartbreaking and other times they are joyful, full of hope.
Now I will share a story with you and why I continue to blog and post on all sites to try and get the support for those affected by Breast Cancer.
One day I received a call from a local man whose wife he said had been stricken with Breast Cancer and all her friends had ran away; scared that it would affect them in someway. Her family members were suffering because of her depression and her husband was in fear he was losing his wife, he had no one to turn to as this is not the sort of thing you would discuss outside the family. As his voice begin to crack, I offered him the support and resources available here in Qatar. But in that instance, I knew I had to continue to fight as there were many like like this man and his wife that needed support and comfort from those in the community.
I KNOW YOU ARE OUT THERE, and I and Pink Think Qatar can't do it alone. I, We need your help to join together to fight the fight that is meant to be won against Breast Cancer. We can do it! There will be a cure found and together we will find it that much sooner.
On Thursday, I am wearing pink from now until October the official Breast Cancer month, can you join me on Pink Thursdays?

Cancer affects everyone. It has no boundaries and is indiscriminate. So many are working so hard for a cure and to educate for prevention and early detection.
It is the least we can do to highlight this.
I'm in for Pink Thursdays!
Come on everybody...
