When an ally becomes victim of allies!

Recent deadly NATO air strike that killed 24 Pakistan Army soldiers has once again raised questions about the intentions of NATO/ISAF/US viz a viz Pakistan which has sacrificed more than 35 thousand citizens including 05 thousand defence forces personnel, besides material loss of US$67 billion. Instead of formal apology, NATO/US media such as Wall Street Journal, fed by their functionaries with false stories, have added salt to the injury and alleged that the attack was authorized by Pakistani officials who were unaware of the presence of their troops in the area! It is really unfortunate that an ally once again became victim of its NATO allies and paid price for the support extended to them in the global war on terror.

Delibrately delayed my response after viewing negative comments by those who know nothing about the realities on the ground. Good Luck, finally Arab Spring also influenced Pakistanis and refused to take dictation. Very bad on part of NATO,US since they killed those who fed them. Formal apology is the key to revival of contacts and restoration of NATO supplies.

Noooooooo Brit! That is just a conspiracy theory. He got wrist ache and palm blisters just like the rest of us. But I know he had to request assistance when he realised he had loads of screws left over.

What gets me is how he was able to assemble the flat packs without anyone knowing?

Do you think the CIA helped him with stealth drills and hammers ?

Not sure I'd call Pakisatan an 'ally' anyway. Clearly, their security forces are doing very little, if anything, to work with the West. At worst, they seem to be colluding against the West. How else do you explain the fact OBL was living quite happily in a residential suburb in the country? Of course I suppose it could just be rank uselessness on the part of the Pakistani Authorities.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if the attack had been authorised by Pakistani Officials.
