Hi, I came Qatar in business visit employement visa. Entered Qatar on 30 March 2015. This is visa valid for three months. As per agreement, company given return ticket before arriving to Qatar. Now the return ticket is cancelled by the company. Our hr requested me to pay 1000 Qr towards ticket. But actually ticket given to me is absolutely free from the company side. Now 2 years visa is take and the status is valid to use. My HR told me that if u are not willing to pay then put cancel and go home. Now actually I want to go home only. My qurie 1) will company pay this month salary. 2) will company provide me ticket. 3) My visa is valid to use till December 2015. Still my medical and fingering not done. Shall I come Qatar after December 2015 or after 2 years or life ban. 4) if in case company will not provide salary or ticket then how can travel home. 5) Who will help me to solve this issue. Pls reply as soon as possible.

Dear friend, thank you for your support. Thursday spoken to hr things settled smoothly. I received ticket to Dubai and return to Doha in transit free from company. Entry with new 2 year work visa. Regarding 1000 QR. Hr told me to pay in installments 200 each months in five months. Thank you every one. Praise Allah.Ramadan Mubarak to all.

Dear Ismail...I think you must go and speak to HR face to face as sometimes Telephonic conversation is not enough and it shows ill manners too...i will suggest you to go to HR and speak to him in front and try to record audio, or if you spoke to him through phone then install call recorder in your cell phone and record the conversation between you two, later you can contact Human rights office(Be reminded not labor court buddy as its of no use)...best of luck

@Brit...i do understand...i just asked my questions to make it all clear before Mr Ismail proceeds for Human Rights or labor Court as i know how much questions he will be asked as you know there are corrupt people everywhere...if you are not fully ready then further troubles waits you outside the Justice door...
Dear Brother Ismail...if you are right on your side without any mistakes then nobody can force you to pay amount of ticket which was booked earlier as a return ticket and been canceled later and now they ask you money for it...if your HR understands your request then well and good else you can go to Human rights...its not about money its about justice bro so don't let anybody misuse the power...best of luck

Dear ismail...i am confused what you are asking for...1.As you said you are on business visa with a return ticket back for your country if in case your visa not been processed within limit of time(3 Months)...nobody can ask you money from you of ticket(as u mentioned ur HR asking to pay 1000QR)..2.You saying you got your work visa for two years then how can your visa validity expires in december 2015? as you just arrived in March-15?...Medical and finger prints are the first step to get a Valid working visa you mentioned its not been done yet then how come you get a visa already?...3.Untill and unless you complete your contract period with your company you will not be eligible to asking a ticket from company at least one side you have to pay if in case you going for an emergency leave....all in all i can sense that you are the one who just want to leave Doha in any case?....Pardon me for any offense but my dear brother but even if just for 1000QR sake do not waste and loss your precious time and opportunity you got in here...i think your work doesn't have any problem, its bad out there going back to our countries instead talk to your HR and try to shed that 1000 Issue...i bet it wont be a big deal...i know you miss ur loved ones but same time those loved ones need money to live and to full fill their daily needs, please do not take my suggestions as criticism but its an brotherly advices...rest its up to you...best of luck buddy

I think the story is made up. Qatar is an Islamic country. Everything is good. The bad things only happen in the West.

If visa not yet stamped on your passport, you can return to Qatar and the two-year ban will not apply. As for your salary and ticket approach the Human Rights Committee with all the documents and they may help you out.
