Work visa and leaving Qatar

Hi all,

I have decided to resign from my job before my 3 months probation period is over, I only have a work visa which runs out on the 8th of Feb. As far as my RP went I have got to the finger print stage (done).

My Questions

do I need an exit permit
what are the implications of resigning
what will my employer deduct from my final salary
If I don't have an RP can I take up another role if offered

My other problem is that I do not hold a British Driving License but passed the Qatari test in December. as I do not have an RP my DL was never issued. is there any way I can get it issued without RP before I leave the country so I can use it other GCC countries.

all sensible answer would be a great help

Since ur finger print is done and if u have passed the finger print then ur passport will have gone to immigration for visa stamping. a) exit permit- I think will be needed as ur passport must have gone for visa stamping.check whether ur passport no has been entered in the system for issue of visa.b) Implications- ban for 2 years if visa is stamped. c) Deductions- employer will deduct all expenses incurred for making ur work visa and he might hold ur salary plus might ask for compensation.d) Taking up another job - If Visa is stamped in passport and entry has been made in computer system then not possible immediately.Possible after one year if employer is ready to give NOC.
