Working for free

Why not work for free? Hundreds of thousands of laborers in Qatar effectively work for free every day.

your wanting to succeed and better yourself is to be applauded.

Why not speak to your boss and tell him that you want to learn more and would like more responsibility.

alternatively, you could volunteer your services inthe evening or weekends to societies or clubs looking for help with their accounts etc.

There is no value for anything free... in this materialistic world ;)

free is not good enough!

Companies would always base your experience where you have worked (are working). Even if you were to work for free, you cannot include it in your CV or it will not provide that much weight compared to your actual experience with your employer. Furthermore, it is illegal to work, even for free, for another employer.

My question is why not talk to your boss and try to get additional responsibilities. He would be more than happy to give you additional tasks (unless he is selfish).
